Such a handsome fellow, Cornelius is hand carved and painted with an additional coat of oil mixtures to give the raw organic look common to all figures in this range. Inspired by the medieval plague doctors who wore a large beak mask filled with oils and herbs to protect them from the sickness they visited. In these times and especially in winter we can all use this little charm to protect us and keep us safe from the cold and illness. His amusing character is sure to make anyone feel better immediately on seeing him. We are so happy to have this new range of guardians and with Tornasuk and Lucius plus their penguin friends you can start collecting straight away.
